Dee Why Beach, NSW, Australia
This rock shelf at Dee Why beach is notorious for it’s big and rough surf. I precariously set up my tripod and camera here, with the intention to capture the force of these giant waves in full flight but I was never quite happy with my shots, the waves were almost too much for the frame. So I decided to take a different approach, to capture the aftermath. This is what I love about photography - there’s always a different way of looking at things to capture the moment you’re after.
