Murray River, Paringa, South Australia

We’d had some pretty unstable weather on our way to Renmark - huge dust storms, strong winds and heavy rain. That afternoon when the sky started to get dark and heavy, I headed back out along the Murray River to Paringa. These were the final moments, when the air hung still, right before the sky erupted. I love how full with emotion the clouds are here, the dead trees reaching up to them like the lighting strikes they were about to unleash.
